Manuscript, sermons for Shabbat HaGadol and Shabbat Shuva as well as additional sermons by the Ga'on Rabbi Ya'akov Tzvi Weiss-Weissman Av Beit Din of Hoida-Sabaslo (Hungary), (1882-1885).
Autographic writing by author. Title page contains handwritten notation:"What G-D has endowed me with, Ya'akov Tzvi Weiss¦ Ya'akov Tzvi ben Miriam¦". Signatures and notations in handwriting of his grandson Rabbi"Ya'akov Tzvi Katz".
The Ga'on Rabbi Ya'akov Tzvi Weiss-Weissman (passed away in Adar 1889 or 1890, Otzar HaRabbanim 10282), son of Rabbi Avraham Weissman Av Beit Din of Sabaslo (Otzar HaRabbanim 393) and son-in-law of the Holy Rebbe Rabbi Shmuel Frankel Av Beit Din of Kamad and Darag (author of Imrei Shefer). Disciple of the Kol Aryeh. Served in the Sabaslo Rabbinate, which was headed by his family for four generations, as successor to his father. His son-in-law Rabbi Shmuel Katz (Otzar HaRabbanim 18480) succeeded him in the Sabaslo Rabbinate until his death in 1919. His son Rabbi Ya'akov Tzvi Katz author of Leket HaKemach HaChadash (passed away in 1964, Otzar HaRabbanim 10284) succeeded him in the rabbinate, and after the Holocaust moved to Amsterdam.
Over 220 written pages, 22 cm. Good condition. Loose binding.
