Arba'ah Ve'Esrim, including Minchat Shai, sections 1-2 [Chamisha Chumshei Torah and Megillot, Nevi'im Rishonim], by Rabbi Yedidya Shlomo Nortzi. Mantua, [1742]. First edition.
First edition of the book Minchat Shai, which became a classic composition on the Masorah and the text of the Bible. Each section has two title-pages, and first title-page is illustrated.
Section 1: [4], 136, 141-142 leaves. (Leaves [2-3] bound between leaves 141-142). Section 2: [2], 88 leaves. (Missing last leaf with list of instances where pronunciation differs from text).
26 cm. Fair condition. Stains, mildew stains on some leaves. First two title-pages as well as several additional leaves are torn and /or detached. Ownership notation / signature on title-page. Worn binding.
