Many scholarly glosses in different oriental handwritings. Mostly by Rabbi Avraham Peretz author of "Avnei Shoham" and his sons Rabbi Raphael Chaim Binyamin author of "Zacharnu Le-Chaim" and his brother who signed "ACH"I" – a leading rabbi in Turkey in the 19th century.
On title page signature by Rabbi Avraham Peretz author of "Avnei Shoham" [see item 370], many glosses are in the same handwriting.
Numerous glosses are in Rabbi Raphael Chaim Binyamin Peretz, his son, handwriting, in some the glosser refers to what he wrote in the book "Zacharnu Le-Chaim" [on leaf 77 the writer writes about the book Zacharnu La-Chaim "May I be blessed by G-d and sacrifice this book on the altar of printing"]. On leaf 177 a signed gloss.
On leaf 10 ownership signature: "...Eliyahu Anav" [a leading rabbi in Constantinople. Signed first amongst disciples of Rabbi Eliyahu Palombo on the introduction to his book "Yad Ha-Melech". Rosh Yeshivah and Dayan of Balat. Served as chief rabbi of Constantinople in 1826. Died 1832].
