Signature on title page: Yossef Rubin S"T, and a long inscription (by a child) by his son David, that this book belongs to his father, Rabbi Yossef Ha-Reuveni.
Scholarly comment on the margins signed "David Rubin" or "D"R the young".
Rabbi Yossef Rubin (died 1886 or 1895) Dayan and Av-Beit-Din of Tripoli.
His son, Rabbi David Rubin, (died 1906) of Tripoli sages, also served as Av-Beit-Din. Published the book "Be'er La-Chai".
