Scholarly glosses in oriental handwriting. Signatures and various ownership inscriptions on title page, glosses. Signature "it is mine HAN"A". [Some glosses in his own handwriting]. Ownership inscription by Moshe Lisbona. On leaf preceding title page appears Rabbi Yitzchak Abulafia's signature.
The Ga'on Rabbi Chaim Nissim Abulafia – HAN"A (1774-1861), a leading sage of Tiberias, Jerusalem and Eretz Yisrael. As of 1856 served as Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem - the "Rishon Le-Zion". (His father, the Ga'on Yitzchak was grandson of Rabbi Chaim Abulafia, establisher of settlement in Tiberias, and he himself was also one of the leading rabbis and founders of Tiberias).
