Regulstions include: Only Jews who have a residence permit are allowed to live in the area under the archbishop of Koeln's rule, they have to register and declare their assets; Jews must respect the Christian holidays and customs; Jews are forbidden to share a house with Christians or to employ Christian servant: Jews with a residence permit have the right to deal in silver and gold, trade horses and handle money lending, in order to limit interest on the loans they are allowed to charge only 1% interest per month; Jews are not allowed to mint coins, to slaughter more animals than their direct needs and other laws.
