Dancers and birds, Israeli embroidery made of linen threads, product of Hana Karlova, [1960s-1970s].
Artist Hana Karlova introduced the craft of embroidery to Eretz Israel upon her immigration from Czechoslovakia in 1965, and brought about a change in the appreciation of this art: From "folk" art which served for the decoration of clothing to an art appropriate for wall hangings. Maximal size: 114x40 cm. Good condition. The book "Maג€™aseh Tachara" by Hana Karlova is attached. Tel Aviv: Shva, 1984.
