"Brit Shalom" - Two English Booklets
Brit Shalom was a movement established in 1925 by a group of Jewish intellectuals, aiming at achieving co-existence between Jews and Arabs, through yielding the right to establish a national home for the Jews in Eretz Israel, as stated in the Balfour Declaration. Amongst the members and supporters were Arthur Ruppin, Martin Buber, Shmuel Hugo Bergman, Gershom Shalom, Ernst Simon, Henreitta Szold, Yehudah Leib Magnes and others:
1. Memorandum by the Brit Shalom Society on an Arab Policy for the Jewish Agency. Jerusalem, January 1930. Good condition. Creases.
2. Jewish-Arab Affairs, occasional papers published by the Brit-Shalom Society. Jerusalem, June 1931. Good condition. Torn cover, partially detached.
