A Letter from Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer to the office of Beit Midrash Ohel Torah headed by Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Hilman. Jerusalem 1938.
In the letter Rabbi Isser Zalman requests on behalf of Rabbi Mordechai Ilander son-in-law of Rabbi Y. Arielli to be received as a student.
Some of the best Avrechim of Jerusalem studied in the Beit Midrash of Ohel Torah, such names include Rabbi Y.S. Elyashiv, Rabbi S. Vozner, Rabbi S. Shvadron and more.
Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer (1870-1954), was the author of "Even HaEzal", student of Rabbi Chaim of Brisk in the Yeshiva of Volozhin, and was the Av Beit Din and Rosh Yehsiva of Slutsk. He moved to Jerusalem in 1924 and was appointed primary teacher in the "Etz Chaim" Yeshiva. Of the heads of "Moetzet Gedolei HaTora".
