Issues of "Forverts" art supplement, dealing with theater, plastic art, culture and community which are outstanding in their impressive design. Large photos in black and white cover most of the leaves, accompanied by short texts in English and Yiddish.
The Jewish-American paper "Forverts" [Forward] was founded in New-York in 1897 and still appears (different format and different frequency). 72 issues (two leaves to each issue), bound in one volume, 56 cm. Poor condition. Fragile paper. Many tears. Stains. Detached leaves. Binding dismantled and torn.
