Figures / Mezuzah - Hans Teppich
1-8. Eight small figures made by Teppich. Jerusalem, [1950s-60s]. Cast brass; engraved.
Bases of the figures are heavy; they were used to compress tobacco in a pipe or for extinguishing it. Each figure is different from the next and on its bottom has a biblical name: David, Miriam, Avraham, etc.
9. Mezuzah designed by Hans Teppich (marked: Teppich, Made in Israel).
Average size: 5 cm.
