On verso of the first title page is a censor authorization from 1889. Many stamps of Rabbi Yerucham Fishel Perlow: "Juda perla - warschau", and "Juda fiscel perla – warschau". Rabbi Yerucham Fishel Perlow of Warsaw (1846-1934), renowned Torah scholar who in his later years immigrated to Jerusalem. A Torah prodigy, with remarkable erudition. Earning a living from commerce, he was not compelled to serve in the rabbinate. He was famous for his great work on Sefer HaMitzvot by Rabbi Sa'adia Ga'on and for his glosses printed in the margins of various books. 536 pages; 114, 195-216, 127-258 pages; 68 pages.
