Ketubah recording the marriage of the groom, Nathan Chaim ben Ya'akov Baruch Levi Montechieri O.B.M. and the bride Sarah Giviya bat Yonah Menachem Cantoni O.B.M.. Bozzolo, Italy, 1 Elul [1780].
Handwritten on parchment. Top margins are cut. Decorations and blessings on the frame and above the ketubah text. In the center is an illustrated medallion with the family emblem (?), in the middle of which is the inscription (in Hebrew), "And this is the sign of their fathers' home". Witnesses' signatures: Mordecai (?) Yehuda ben David Kiastela (?), Yitzhak Levi Mortra ben Avraham.
31.5X46 cm. Fair condition. Tears, some open, with damage to text. Creases and stains.
