Token Portraying the Battle of Amalek - Holland, 16th Century - Tetragrammaton
Token portraying the battle of Amalek. [Holland, 1599].
Obverse: coat of arms of Zeeland (south-western Dutch province) with the Latin legend "Cui Tributum Tributum". Reverse: relief portraying the battle of Amalek - Moses, Aaron and Chur on a hilltop, beneath a sun with the Tetragrammaton. The relief is surrounded by the Latin legend "Victoria A Deo Precibus".
