Medal with Hebrew text "The Unseen Defender" and engraved stone given by the Israel Security Agency to Ilan Biran, director-general of the Defense Ministry from 1996 to 1999 as a token of appreciation. Israel, 1999.
1. Silver-plated bronze medal. Obverse: "Magen Velo Yera'e" ("the defender that shall not be seen"). Reverse: The emblem of the State of Israel and the legend "Israel Security Agency" in Hebrew. The words "State of Israel and "Bronze" are engraved on the edge. The medal is in an olive-wood case covered in velvet.
59 mm. Good condition. The silver plating is slightly worn.
2. Rectangular stone, partially dressed, engraved with the words "Friendship Stone of Jerusalem." The stone is in a wooden box with the emblem of the Israel Security Service on the lid, with the inscription: "To Ilan Biran, in appreciation for his cooperation and best wishes for the future. December 1999, the members of the Israel Security Service."
Stone: 21 x 12 x 1 cm. Box: 26 x 16.5 x 5 cm. Good condition. Minor damage and stains on the box.
