Ten photographs portraying teachers, students, visitors and ceremonies in the Hebrew University, including photographs by Zoltan Kluger. Jerusalem, [ca. 1920s-30s].
In the collection: • Photograph of the Hebrew University inauguration, with pen inscriptions marking some of the participants, among them the inscription "me" (German). [1925]. Titled on the back in German. • Two photographs titled on the back "School year opening ceremony" (Hebrew and English). • Photograph of "Dr. Eig's botany lecture" by Zoltan Kluger. Stamped with photographer's stamp and titled on the back. • Photograph of a donor from the United States and Moshe Wilbushevitz by a telescope, [by Zoltan Kluger]. Titled on the back. • Five photographs depicting the geological collection in the university, the Jewish National and University Library building, students during a lecture and books being unloaded from the back of a donkey (titled on the back).
17X9.5 cm to 22.5X16 cm. Good condition. Stains. Creases. Blemishes to one photograph. Medium tear to one photograph; open tears to corner of two photographs.
