A long answer in Halachah by the Ga'on Rabbi Meshulam Rata - regarding the stun of animals.
Long handwritten letter signed by Rabbi Meshulam Roth zt "l Bnei Brak. 1954
The letter deals with the forbidden of stunning of animals before slaughtering, and such animals are treifah and forbidden to eat.
Rabbi Meshulam Rata (1875-1962), "the great in his generation" as the rabbi of Tchebin called him. Dayan and a teacher in Romania and later in Eretz Israel. Dayan at the Rabbinical Court and member of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Author of "Kol Mevaser" Responsa.
One page is written on both sides.
