Rabbi Wazner zt "l immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1939. He lived in Jerusalem on Hoshea Street. He studied with Rav Yosef Tzvi Dushinsky, and made 'Shimush Chachamim' with Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Polonsky Metaphilic. After a while he was appointed by the Eda Haredit and Rabbi Dushinsky to be a judge at the rabbinical court and a rabbi on its behalf to the neighborhoods of Kerem Avraham and Geula.
