Passover Haggadah. Degania Bet, [ca. 1945-1947],
Non-traditional haggadah, with illustrations. Separate title pages for each of the four cups, and another title page for the festive meal (with an illustration of the kibbutz dining-room). Many texts about the Holocaust and the fate of European Jews appear on the two first title pages: "Let us sanctify the memory of our fathers and brothers who were afflicted, robbed, raped and murdered in exiles all over the world. We have uprooted ourselves from the exile, returned to our country, returned to work the land and begun to build a new life and a new society".
[1] front cover, 34 leaves + [4] leaves (title pages), [1] back cover, 16.5X22 cm. Overall good condition. Stains, primarily to first and last leaves. Tears and stains to cover edges.
