Medal awarded to Albert (Abraham) Cohen, the charity consultant of James (Jakob) Mayer de Rothschild, 1855.
Obverse: The Tablets of the Law, a menorah and different utensils, surrounded by the Hebrew legend: "Let them give glory to the LORD, and declare his praise in the coastlands" (Hebrew). Reverse: Italian dedication to Albert Cohen, for charity endeavors for the Jews, on behalf of the Italian Jewish congregation (dated 1855).
