Rabbi Yitzchak Dov Ha'Levi Bamberger (1808-1879) was one of the leaders of the Western-European Jewry, a Torah genius and a great Posek, especially after the death of his in-law, the author of "Aruch La'Ner". He served as the rabbi of Würzburg and the region since 1841 until his death.
