The Tobacco Box of Rabbi Yitzchak Dov HaLevi Bamberger, Leader of Western European Jewry
A tobacco box (or bullet box?) made of horn and turtle armor. Decorated with a magnificent silver plate. In its center engraved the name "Yitzhak Levy", and on the back of the inscription "Rabbi Yitzchak HaLevi Bamberger of Würzburg from 1923".
Very good condition, signs of wear and tear.
