Rabbi Moshe Feinstein (1895–1986) was a rabbi, scholar, and posek, who was world-renowned for his expertise in Halacha and was regarded by many as the de facto supreme halachic authority for Orthodox Jewry of North America. His halachic rulings were level-headed and thorough. According to the tradition of the Ashkenazic Poskim, he built his responses from scratch – the Sugiyot of the Talmud and the Rishonim and then the Poskim. His personality and rulings integrated the models of the head of yeshiva and the Posek, the yeshiva erudition and the power of halachic ruling. He authored the books "Dibrot Moshe", novellae on the Talmud, and the "Igrot Moshe" Responsa.
The pen is gold-plated with an engraving in large letters: "AD (most likely: Admor) Moshe Feinstein". The name of the manufacturer in the USA is engraved in small letters and that the pen is gold-plated (Gold-filled).
Condition: Very good.
