A receipt in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv's father - Rabbi Avraham Elyashiv. 

A receipt for 3 lira from the Knesset Yisrael General Committee, dated: 27 Tevet 5787 [January 1, 1927]. Palestine stamp. 

Rabbi Avraham Elyashiv [1877-1943] known as the Rabbi from Homel (Gomel in Belarus). Studied under the Chafetz Chaim in this youth. He immigrated to Israel together with his family in 1924 and established the "Tiferet Bachurim" yeshiva for young people working to earn a living. Son-in-law of the Kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv author of the "Leshem", worked extensively to publish his books. His only son, born after 17 years of marriage, was Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv.
