On the rear side of the title page is the author’s dedication in his handwriting and his stamp to Rabbi Chaim Arditi.
At the end of the book are compilations, novaelle of laws and indexes.

Rabbi David Papu (1848-1927) was born in Constantinople and grew up in the presence of the great sages of the city, who later ordained him as a Rabbi. In 1899, he was appointed as the Chief Rabbi of the city of Baghdad. He immigrated to Jerusalem where he was appointed as Av Beit Din.
