The book has many important approbations from the Rabbis of Tunis and Jerusalem.
On the inside of the binding is a dedication leaf printed in gold ink, with two lines filled out in the author’s handwriting to “The honored and revered one, the great Rabbi, my dear friend, Rabbi Akiva Yosef…”.
The author Rabbi Shalom Mizrachi Adni, one of the great Yemenite Rabbis and Kabbalists who immigrated to Jerusalem, he was a Rabbi in Yemen and immigrated to Israel in 1875. This immigration was replete with many difficult trials and tribulations. In Jerusalem he was appointed as one of the sages of the “Rechovot HaNahar” yeshiva and member of “Beit El”.
