An Interesting Letter from Rabbi Yosef Eliyahu Henkin
A letter of Halachic responsa regarding "an adopted daughter who was considered to be the daughter of a certain person and now the rumor has gone out that she was born to a non-Jew and it is hard to persuade the adopters to reveal the secret to her". In the letter the Rabbi brings several Halachic proofs that there is an obligation to reveal the daughter's adoption.
The letter is addressed to Rabbi Aaron Milevsky. February 1961.
A long letter of Torah thoughts, written on both sides. Official paper.
After the signature Rabbi Henkin added another few lines in handwriting.
