The Five Books of Moses with Aramaic translation – Venice, 1752
The Five Books of Moses with the Targum (aramic) and the five Megillot and Haftarot. Venice, 1752.
A page of Translation opposite a page of Chumash. At the top of the volume are the rules of the Translation, a calendar of the weekly portions and an 80 year calendar (1751-1830).
Handwritten inscriptions in a foreign language and in Hebrew from the 1820's.
350 leaves. (A few pages were bound in the wrong places), 17 cm. Good-fair condition, wear marks and minor damage, leaves cut on the border of the title. An antique leather cover with gold impressions. In a nice box.
Bibliographically unknown. In Bibliography Institute CD record 0314940 a different copy is listed, according to photocopies of leaves from a private collection.
