Printed postcard, photograph of soldiers of the Hebrew Brigade, [c. 1919].
At top of postcard, description handwritten by Ze'ev Jabotinsky, one of the brigade's founders: "On the 15th of Shvat, the 39th battalion strides in the direction of the Ben-Shemen colony, which suffered greatly in the Turkish-British battles, 1914-1918". The description is written in English, the words "the 15th of Shvat" are written in Hebrew. The 39th battalion of the Hebrew Brigade participated in battles on Jerusalem. 9x14 cm. good condition. Stains and creases.
