Matzah Basket. [Poland, late 19th century].
Cardboard and fabric, covered with embroidery of white and red cotton threads.
Embroidered inscription: "Seven days eat matzos".
Height: 13.5 cm. Circumference: 30 cm. Stains and wear.
A similar item is exhibited in the Israel Museum (Number 158/007; B50.02.1788).
