Color illustration by Frank Newbould portraying a caravan of camels carrying crates with Jaffa oranges on the shore of the city of Jaffa. Signed (in the plate, in print), and titled: "Jaffa".
Frank Newbould, 1887-1951, posters designer, native of Bradford (England), specialized in drawing tourism posters and designed various promotional posters including posters for the British War Office.
76X50.5 cm. Good condition. Minor stains and tears to borders.
