Yam shel Shlomo. Gittin. Berlin 1761. First edition.
On the title page, an ancient signature: "Given as a gift to me Ya'akov Posen … Mordechai Wetzler".
Rabbi Mordechai Wetzler was a disciple of Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Zuntheim of Hannan and his Meshamesh for 10 years. Served as Av Beit Din of Augsburg until his death. He acted against the Reforms. A letter from him against the abolishers of the Milah was printed in the book of Rabbi Zalman Trier.
An additional ownership inscription on the title page: "… to buy this book from … Wolf ben Rabbi Hirsch of Fulda … Yekutiel [?] Zalman [?]…" the family name is difficult to decipher. There were several prominent rabbis who were called "Yekutiel Zalman".
