Two Issues of the "She'arim" Newspaper of Poalei Agudat Yisrael - the Absorption of She'erit Ha'Pleta in the Israel - 1946, 1947
Two issues of the newspaper of Poalei Agudat Yisrael, dealing with the absorption of immigrants before the establishment of the State.
The issue from 1946 deals with the absorption of 1,800 illegal immigrants, Holocaust survivors, who had arrived on a ship that had left Romania. The main headline: "Welcome Illegal Immigrants to Israel!". Beside the main article there are many short articles about the of the Poalei Agudat Yisrael movement to bring new immigrants to Israel from Europe.
The issue from 1947 deals with the absorption of immigrants from Cyprus. Above the name of the newspaper, a call: "The voice of conscience: fill your duty of absorbing the immigration from Cyprus!".
