Two Jewish Newspapers - Holocaust and She'erit Ha'Pleta - Yiddish and German - London, 1943 / Vienna, 1946
a. The Jewish Weekly – describes the harsh events of the Holocaust. London, 09.28.1943.
On the newspaper are 4 stamps of the Agudat Yisrael in Mauritius – testimony of Jewish refugees in the place. During the Second World War the island was a Jewish colony. At the end of December 1940 1,580 Jews who tried to immigrate illegally to Israel and were caught by the British were brought to the Island. They were imprisoned in the camp until the beginning of August 1945.

Condition: Good. Folding marks and slight tears with no damage to text.
