Miniature printing of the bible 2.1x2.9 cm. In a tiny silver-plated box with a round window at its front sealed by a permanent magnifying glass. On top of the box, a metal circle that turns it into a pendant for a necklace.
The bible is identical to the copies printed by the inventor Menachem M. Schaltz (Warsaw, circa 1895). The printer's name is missing from the copy before us.
The box is hand-made. According to experts, the item was not made for large-scale marketing. It is possible that it is the model the inventor introduced before marketing the other items that exist in the market. It is also likely that the box was built as a personal model by a silversmith according to the requirements of its owner.
The printer Menachem M. Schaltz published bibles in Warsaw. According to Vinograd-Rosenfeld, this is the tiniest bible that has ever been printed.
Maximum size including the box: 2.5x3.2 cm.
Condition: fair-Good. Several pages are detached. The front cover is detached.
