Signed receipt for rabbinical salary for the years of 1725-1727 signed by Rabbi Shlome Lipschitz.
Small sized paper. 17/6 cm.
Rabbi Shlome Hazan Lipschutz was born in Fuerth 1665. In his youth he learned at the Yeshivah of Rabbi David Oppenheim in Nikolsburg, and after serving as Hazan & Shochet of the communities of Wallerstein, Pfersi and prague, he was appointed as Hazan of Metz in 1715 where he served for more than 40 years until his passing in 1758 in Metz.
