Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam the Admor of Bobov [1908-2000] was the son of Rabbi Ben Tzion of Bobov, author of Kedushat Tzion. He was named after the dynasty's patriarch, Rabbi Shlomo of Bobov son of Rabbi Meir Natan Halberstam son of Rabbi Chaim of Sanz. In his youth, he received ordination from the rabbis of Galicia. In 1931, he began serving as rabbi in Bobov. He miraculously escaped the Nazi inferno and moved to the United States in 1946. He restored the Bobov court after the Holocaust and transformed it into a chassidic kingdom. His Torah was printed in the Kerem Shlomo anthologies and the Likutei Kerem Shlomo [Encyclopedia L'Chassidut, section 3, p. 706].
