Jewish Token. China, First Half of the 20th Century
Copper token from a Jewish-cultural organization. Harbin, China. First half of the 20th century, 1920s-30s. 26 mm. diameter. Relief of King David playing a pipe organ and Russian text, "Jewish Center for Music and Drama in Harbin". Chinese text. Harbin was home to a Jewish-Russian community from the second decade of the 20th century. It grew and developed through the 1930s. VF.
