Collection of letters from Ashkenazi, Sephardi Rabbis and Chassidic masters to the Admorim and Rabbis of the Chassidic dynasty of Bendery.
15 letters from the years (1888-1972), most in excellent condition. Most of the letters were sent to the Admor Rabbi Shimon Shlomo Wertheim, Av Beit Din in Bendery (Serbia), and to his son Rabbi Yosef Wertheim, and to the son-in-law of Rabbi Yosef, Rabbi Shimon Efrati, the Rabbi of the surviving remnant in postwar Poland, the author of the Responsa Gei HaHarigah and Emek HaBachah.
Among the writers: Rebbe Rabbi Yechiel Yehoshua Rabinowitz of Biala, Rebbe Mordechai Shlomo Yosef of Sadigura, Rabbi Yosef Wertheim mentioned above, Rabbi Yitzchak Abuchazira Rav of Ramla, Rabbi Yaakov Yitzhak Reines, Rabbi Y.L. Charlson, Rabbi Naftali HaKohen Adler, a long letter from Rabbi Herzog and others.
