Background: Efraim Deinard (1846-1930) - author and traveller, involved in many polemics, book collector, bibliographer and book trader. He was known as a having a sharp tongue which he did not hesitate to use against public figures, intellectuals, and especially against newspaper and journal editors. Some of his works were written in the style of satire and parody.

Condition: Fine-very fine, minimal aging stains.
