Brisk. The Selichos of the Gaon Rav Meir Halevi Soloveitchik, son of the Gaon Rav Yitzchak Zev Soloveitchik
Selichos (Lithuanian Nussach as well as רייסין, Samogitia and other communities) with "Mateh Levi" and "Beis Halevi" explanations - in which the Gaon and Tzaddik Rav Meir Halevi Soloveitchik, son of Rav Yitzchak Zev Soloveitchik, would pour out his heart in prayer during the month preceding Yom Kippur.
On page before title page is his handwritten signature: Meir Halevi Soloveitchik, Jerusalem, Zichron-Moshe.
The Gaon Rav Meir Halevi Soloveitchik was born in Brisk, to his father Rav Yitzchak Zev, and made Aliyah to Eretz Yisrael together with him in 5701. He learned in the Etz Chaim Talmud Torah, and afterwards learned under Rav Isser Zalman Meltzer. He was the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Brisk in the Achva neighborhood of Jerusalem. His biography and Divrei Torah quoted in his name are written in sefer "Dachazitei" by Rav Meir and in Sefer "Shiurei Maran Ram Halevi".
