Verve Volume with 40 Pages Illustrated after Pierre Bonnard
This volume with numerous attractive art prints is part of Tériade's Verve: Revue artistique et littéraire. This volume was published in 1947 in Paris for Verve. The plates were done as lithographs, heliographs, and other styles and are printed to front and back. This is volume 5, numbers 17-18 with 40 illustrated pages. All of the illustrations are after Pierre Bonnard.
Verve was a renowned quarterly art journal that ran from 1937 to 1960. It was founded in Paris by the art critic, Tériade. The journal published art from several noted artists including Picasso, Matisse, Leger, Miro, Rattner, Bores, Daumal, Braque, and more.
The work is in very good to excellent condition overall. There may be a few minor imperfections or faint marks to be expected with age. Please review the image carefully for condition and contact us with any questions.
