Sefer 'Birkat David' from Hrh"k of Talne, first edition, Zhytomyr, 1862. Was printed during the lifetime of the author with his holy blessing.
Sefer 'Birkat David', from the famous holy Magid Rabbi David of Talne son of the Magid Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl.
ברכת דוד. מהרב המפורסם וכו' ר' דוד נ"י שליט"א מגיד מישרים דק"ק טאלנא באדמו"ר הרב המפורסם איש אלקים רשכב"ה גדול מרבן שמו וכו' מהר"ר מרדכי זללה"ה מ"מ דק"ק טשארנאביל ושארי ק"ק.
First edition. Shapira brothers Press, grandsons of the Rav of Slavuta. Zhytomyr, 1862.
First and rare edition published during the lifetime of the Holy author, with many of his holy blessings printed at the end of the introduction of the sefer:
כ"ד המעתיר בעד כל ישראל לזכות לכל הברכות בבני חיי ומזוני וכל הברכות שעל ידי עבדיו הנביאים הבטיחנו ולראות בנין ציון וירושלים בביאת משיח בן דוד בבי"א דוד בהרב המפורסם מ"ה מרדכי זללה"ה"
At the beginning of the amazing introduction, he clearly writes:
רבים משתוקקים וצמאים ליהנות מפניני לקוטים דבורי תורה אשר השפיע ה' בפי לעורר לבבות בני ישראל לעבודתו ית"ש מקרב איש ולב עמוק...."
72 pages, 20cm.
Pages 69-72 are bound together but disconnected from the sefer, stained, few moth holes, good condition.
Hrh"k Rabbi David of Talne, [1802-1882] was the sixth son of Hrh"k Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl and disciple of Hrh"k Rabbi of Opatów (Apta), he served as Admo"r in Wasilków, and after he was persecuted by the government he moved his courtyard to Talne. In the year 1882 Rabbi David called his chasidim to him for Shabbat 'Acharei Mos', and that Shabbat his holy soul returned in purity to its creator.
