Siddur With a Dedication Handwritten by the Rebbe, Rabbi Avraham Yisachar, Admor of Radzin. 1946
Siddur with a dedication handwritten by the Rebbe, Rabbi Avraham Yisachar of Radzin. 1946.
Small-sized Siddur, Ashkenaz Nussach, printed in New York – with a dedication handwritten by the holy Rabbi Avraham Yisachar Englard of Sosnowiec – Radzin.
The dedication, on the front flyleaf, is addressed to his student, the young man Chanoch Henich Rottenstein, originally from Sosnowiec. The Rebbe signed his name and added his stamp.
The Siddur was printed by “Romm Publishing Company NY”, and is styled after the same Siddur, Arizal Nussach, printed in 1911 in Vilna by the Romm Publishing House. As the Vilna press was steadily in decline and closed down completely at the beginning of WWII, this seems to be a fraudulent attempt to monopolize on the name.
Complete cover, slightly damaged. Good condition.
