Rare Autograph! Complete Sugya, Passages that have Not Been Printed! Four Pages with Torah Innovations Handwritten by Rabbi Shimon Sofer Author of Michtav Sofer of Krakow
Four pages, a complete Sugya, some of which have never been printed, with Torah innovations on Halachot Chamurot of Even HaEzer handwritten by Rabbi Shimon Sofer, the Rav of Krakow and son of the Chasam Sofer.
The pages contain parts that were published alongside some that were never published, as noted on the sheets themselves by his son's son-in-law the Tzaddik gaon Rabbi Yosef Naftali Stern, who published the writings of his grandfather the Chasam Sofer and edited these Mamarim also.
The leaves are very well preserved.
Maran the holy Gaon Rabbi Shimon Sofer author of Michtav Sofer [1821-1883] the beloved son of Maran the Chasam Sofer. After his great father's passing, he was appointed as the Rav of Carola, then for nearly twenty years as the Rav of Mattersdorf and finally, for more than twenty years as the Rav of Krakow. Founded, alongside Maran the holy Rav the Mahari of Belz, the Machazikei Hadas organization. Headed the Kollel Galicia and served as a member of the Senate of Galicia.
[4] pp. written on both sides of a double leaf. Each page contains approx. 25 lines. Minor aging stains. Good-very good condition.
