Postcard Letter by the Holy Gaon the Tzur Yaakov of Probużna
Postcard letter handwritten and signed by the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Horowitz of Probużna, the author of Tzur Yaakov of Probużna, one of the greatest Meshivim of Galicia.
The postcard, handwritten and signed by him' deals with the distribution of his important Tzur Yaakov books and was sent to Rabbi Zvi Elimelech Hernerg.
The postcard is faded and worn.
The Chassid Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Horowitz of Probużna [1864-1942] author of Shut Tzur Yaakov and one of the leading Poskim and Meshivim of his generation. A leading disciple of the Maharsham of Berzhan and of the Kochav MiYaakov. Was appointed the Rosh Yeshiva of Chachmei Lublin, succeeding the Maharam Shapiro of Lublin, yet relinquished the position and continued to served as Moreh Hora'ah.
