Document of the president of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah Chacham Shalom Hacohen joining Agudas Yisroel, Jerusalem, 1973.
The document was filled-in by Chacham Shalom Hacohen and contains personal details such is his identity number, his birth date and more.
In response to the question whether he was a subscriber of HaModi'ah, Chacham Shalom answered simply: 'No'. In response to the question whether he joined another party, and if yes, which, Chacham Shalom answered 'HaPoel HaMizrachi' and in response to the following question, why? he answered simply 'HMO' (in past years, one could not be a member of an HMO without being a member of the party to which the HMO belonged).
Background: in 1973, before the internal elections of Agudas Yisroel in Eretz Yisroel, many Kosher Jews joined the movement by filling-in and submitting documents such as this.
