Nikolai Alexandrovich Morozov (June 25 (July 7), 1854 — July 30, 1946) was a Russian revolutionary Narodnik. Member of the circle of "Tchaikovsky", "Land and will", the Executive Committee of "Narodnaya Volya". He was a participant in the attempts on Alexander II. In 1882, he was sentenced to perpetual hard labor, and until 1905, he was imprisoned in the Peter and Paul and Shlisselburg fortresses. Mason. Honorary member of the USSR Academy of Sciences. He left a large number of works in various fields of natural and social Sciences. He is also known as a writer, poet and author of literature on historical topics. One of the oldest participants of the great Patriotic war.
