Robert Andreevich Grabbe (1904-1991)-Soviet graphic artist, decorator, master of application. Latvian by nationality; born in Novorossiysk, died in Karaganda. He studied in Odessa and Leningrad. In 1930, he moved to Moscow and worked as an Illustrator in the publishing houses GIZ, GICHL, ZIF, Molodaya Gvardiya, Izogiz, Federatsiya, Mezhdunarodnaya kniga, Voengiz, as well as in museums; from 1937 to 1940, he worked as a designer at the VDNH of the USSR. In 1951, he moved to Kazakhstan.
