Ner Moshe, Jerusalem, 1882. Signature in the handwriting of the Admo"r of Belz, and a stamp of the Admo"r Rabbi Aharon Brandwein of Felshtin-Strettin
Ner Moshe, Jerusalem, 1882, by Rabbi Moshe Slatki. The front cover has a signature, “Dov Rokach,” presumably the Admo"r of Belz, plus a stamp on the title page, in blue ink, designed like a signature, “The holy Aharon, son of the holy tzaddik Rabbi Zvi Aryeh of Alik-Strettin, z"l”.
The renowned Chassid Rabbi Aharon Brandwein (d. 1807), the son of Rabbi Zvi Aryeh of Felshtin, married the daughter of Rabbi Avraham Brandwein, the second Admo"r of Strettin, and adopted that family name. He immigrated to Safed and was one of the prominent Chassidim there.
